Plant calls for the widest variety of inspection window solutions. For sewage plants, purification plants, processing plants, filter systems, metal printing plants and other plants we manufacture pressure-tight fixed and openable sight glasses, inspection windows and doors, complete with a wiper and a lid. The constructions are either custom-built, or are products based on our module system and can be adjusted to suit different requirements. We produce the safety components in high-grade steel, light metal or heavy metal; they are pressure-tight up to 0.15 bar. The seals are made from high-quality neoprene, viton or silicone. All products comply with the highest safety requirements, are highly durable and maintenance-free.

Krones – pressure-tight entry doors made of glass

For the world market leader Krones we developed and produced glass entry doors for a new kind of bottle-cleaning plant. The aseptic cleaning process calls for reliable pressure-tight seals and for an alarm switch if the seal is broken. The Fehrmann team designed and produced frameless doors in a slim construction.

Aqseptence  – windows and gauge glasses in filtration plants

Inspection windows and sight glasses in filtration and separation plants for water treatment fulfil a wide variety of requirements: they allow inspection, serve as an escape route, allow material to be lowered into the plant and serve as manhole for industrial divers. At the same time, they need to be reliable and to supply a permanent seal. Fehrmann's tried-and-tested sight glass constructions are maintenance-free and offer the maximum reliability and durability.

Vienna: main sewage plant / GIS Aqua – pressure-tight  gauge glasses in red brass

For many sewage plants, e.g. for the City of Vienna's large-scale project to use renewable energy "e_os 2020", we produce pressure-tight inspection glasses for digestion towers from Fehrmann's module system. This allows a customised configuration for any purpose. The glasses are available in red brass, bronze, high-grade steel or aluminium – round or square, openable or not, with a windscreen wiper or a lid.
