Berlin TV Tower – smoke vents
Wind loads are extreme at a height of 200 metres, but even after decades, Fehrmann's smoke vents are still airtight. The vents can be operated electrically for controlled smoke dispersal, and they are made from fireproof materials to satisfy fire protection regulations.

Intelligent Quarters Hafencity – floodproof windows and facades
Floodproof windows and facades call for the maximum knowledge of water pressure and water loads, approval regulations and design. Using our specialist know-how, we managed to protect the Intelligent Quarters buildings in Hamburg's Hafencity effectively from storm floods and at the same time to fulfil high architectural demands.

Elbphilharmonie – swivel windows
The architects Herzog & de Meuron made very high demands on the structure – and chose tailor-made swivel windows made by Fehrmann. The elliptical swivel windows in the façade are designed to withstand strong winds and extreme driving rain, and some of them can be operated electrically as heat & smoke outlets.
Yachtclub Cap d’Ail – high-security windows
For the private yacht club at the tip of the quay in Cap d‘Ail on the Côte d’Azur Fehrmann supplied window systems that are not only water- and weatherproof, but are also designed to protect some of the world's richest people.
